Hybrid Warehouse Associate (Tile)

Location: HX South Florida (Fort Lauderdale)

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking an energetic, motivated individual with the right attitude to work in our Tile Division. The Hybrid Warehouse Associate will primarily perform warehouse-related tasks and will also assist in counter sales/customer service as needed. The right candidate for this role must be a team player with a can-do mentality. The position requires someone who is able to routinely lift or move heavy objects (see below.) Key Responsibilities:

  • Pull and prepare orders and check for accuracy
  • Load/unload trucks
  • Inventory – physically count, organize and maintain stock, inspect condition and quality, move and replenish as necessary, notify manager of low stock items
  • Help customers with loading products
  • Assist counter area personnel with pulling orders during high demand
  • Assist with customer service tasks as needed
  • Keep aisles clear of stock and debris
  • Sweep warehouse floors daily and as needed
  • Report any unsafe conditions to the Warehouse Manager
  • Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner
  • Report any unsafe conditions to supervisor
  • Seek and achieve continuous personal improvement, and suggest new ideas that encourages personal, departmental or company growth
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Forklift certified
  • Ability to regularly lift or move up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to deliver up to 350 lbs equipment with a handcart
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Pool Industry experience preferred
  • 2 years of warehouse experience a plus
  • Attention to detail
