Inventory Control Coordinator

HOURS: Full-time

Position Summary
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility. The ideal candidate for this position is very detail oriented and a proactive, energetic, reliable team player.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Research back-ordered items
  • Pull items from bin locations for delivery routes and special runs, daily truck checker for designated route
  • Conduct cycle counts
  •  Inspect and ensure accurate labeling of bin locations on pallet racks, shelves and overstock
  • Research stock discrepancies and review findings with other Inventory Control Coordinator
  • Submit inventory discrepancies to Inventory Control Manager
  • Warehouse Inventory: control movement of product between warehouses, create secondary locations for overstock products and maintain adequate supplies at satellite warehouses
  •  Inspect, monitor and maintain warehouse pallet racks and shelving
  • Warehouse reconfigurations and new buildouts – assemble/dissemble required racking and shelving, set up new bin locations, create appropriate labeling
  • Key role in organizing and executing Annual Physical Inventory
  • Other duties as assigned

Other Requirements:

  • Positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude
  • Team-player mentality
  • Proficient in Microsoft office – Word & Excel experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Two (2) years’ warehousing experience
  • One (1) year inventory control experience a plus
  •  Forklift experience
  •  Ability to regularly lift 50 – 100lbs
  • Ability to walk, sit, climb ladders, kneel, bend, reach, push and or pull, lift and lower, handle, feel and grasp packages and equipment, read and understand instructions.
