Position Summary
HornerXpress Worldwide is the global exporting company of the Team Horner Group, supplying quality U.S. brands to over 100 countries all around the world. We’re inviting qualified candidates to join our dynamic team by applying for the position of Sales and Marketing Coordinator. The right candidate for this position will be an efficient, proactive team player who enjoys working with a diverse team on varied assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
General Administration

  • Answering the main telephone line, greeting visitors, Logging, tracking and managing all incoming leads
  • Filing and file maintenance, electronic and physical
  • Managing and ordering office and kitchen supplies, as needed
  • Providing detailed expense reconciliations for supply related purchases
  •  Assisting with the internal distribution and collection of mail and other documents
  • Organizing meetings, celebrations, customer visits and special events, including catering arrangements and room set-up
  • Coordinating gifts, flowers and cards as required for specific occasions for teammates and partners
  • Ensuring that the welcome area, kitchen, conference room and communal areas are tidy

Business Development Coordination

  • Coordinating and/or assisting with the preparation and planning of sales travel and trade shows
  • Coordinating and/or assisting with the creation and maintenance of sales reports, presentations, pricing, files and other tools
  • Coordinating and/or assisting with sales travel and lead follow-up; preparing packages, pricing, brochures
  • Preparing forecasting reports on a quarterly basis for the Sales & Marketing Manager and sales team

Marketing Coordination

  • Managing and coordinating HXW, HX India and AquaCalor website content
  • Managing and coordinating E-Blast content, surveys, and schedules
  • Coordinating, preparing, and posting social media communications on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Managing special marketing projects
  • Attending all Team Horner marketing meetings and relaying relevant information
  • Working with the Sales Team and Sales & Marketing Manager in preparing marketing programs, specials, and correspondence, customized as necessary for each region
  • Maintaining the stock of marketing materials and fulfilling requests as needed
  • Creating and submitting press releases/articles to the international pool industry media
  • Monitoring and researching government/state sponsorship programs available to export businesses
  • Conducting quarterly meetings and providing marketing assistance as needed, for HX India & AquaCalor
  • Coordinating and assisting with the monthly newsletter submittals

Vendor Communication

  • Maintaining and distributing pricing, specials, programs, literature, samples, and media supplies
  • Coordinating and schedule vendors for product training, support at trade shows and advertising projects
  • Managing the lead tracking system, assisting with distribution and follow-up of vendor leads, providing vendors and the sales team with updates on a quarterly basis
  • Creating, running, and submitting key vendor reports on a quarterly basis and as requested
  • Assisting in identifying new vendors and securing product exclusives

Customer Service

  • Contacting customers and vendors via telephone, mail, and e-mail
  • Responding to and assisting with resolving internal and external inquiries

Other Requirements:

  •  Positive, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude
  •  Team-player mentality
  • PC literate (Windows Office). Strong Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills.
  • FACTs (ERP) & Salesforce experience a plus
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related role, required
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Language skills a plus
  • High school education or equivalent. Some college in a related field a plus.
  • Ability to attend company training programs, including seminars on campus and elsewhere in Florida, both in and out of normal working hours
  • Consistent attendance and reliability
  •  Contribution of suggestions for improvement
  •  A willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  •  Involvement in continuous education and training, to improve knowledge of products and processes
  • Compliance with established protocols and procedures
  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced multi-cultural environment
