Jr. Design Consultant

Location:  Stonehardscapes Jacksonville Design Center

FLLSA:  Exempt, Salaried

Schedule:  Full-time, 40 hours/week

Pay Range: $50K/year, bonus opportunity, and company vehicle

The role of the Jr. Design Consultant is to support the architectural design division by providing product knowledge and information to help with their hardscape project specifications of StoneHardscapes materials, products and services. StoneHardscapes, Inc. is a natural stone and marble, travertine manufacturer and distribution company with headquarters based out of Fort Lauderdale. We are actively hiring for positions all over the state of Florida. The duties of this role include, but are not limited to, scheduling meetings with landscape architects, home architects, and design firms, preparing marketing materials. training of the company’s products and/or services and provide training support for the products and/or services. Responsibilities include:

• Become an expert in our product offerings and serve as a go-to source for information about our products.

•Use promotional methods such as phone calls, emails and social media to reach potential clients and build a long-lasting business relationship with them.

• Conduct presentations and demonstrate to potential/existing clients the benefits of StoneHardscapes materials.

• Establish and maintain healthy, long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat business and referrals.

• Discover customers’ needs and offer solutions to them through the company’s services or products.

• Determine new ways to make products appealing by observing the environment and current trends.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Good networking skills and the ability to handle numerous client companies and customers

• Ability to work under pressure and devise design strategies

• Ability to explain product features and benefits in a way that stands out over competing brands

• Passionate about finding ways to satisfy customers’ needs

• Resilience and a willingness to deal with rejection

• Excellent organization and management capabilities, including being a team player
