HOURS: Full-time

Position Summary

We are looking for a competent AR Clerk to help with the organization and daily Accounting Receivable functions of the company. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an Accounting Receivable performing various accounting clerk  tasks and providing support to coworkers. He/she must be responsible, dedicated, and able to undertake a variety of AR support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a diverse group and must have an approachable, pleasant and professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt, courteous and efficient customer service – Answer telephones, greet and assist walk-ins as needed. .
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Assisting with all departments’ customer issues.
• Process various sales orders, researching rates , schedule trucks and prepare bill of Landings.
• Monitoring daily sales – sales voids, register sales, credit memos, filing and scanning invoices.
• Maintaining records of banking transactions – Prepare deposits/ receipts, credit card application/payments and running reports for collection.
• Creating and maintaining month end reports for office manager.
• Filing and records management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong Mathematical Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • At least 2 years of A/R experience
  • Associate Degree in Business or Accounting
  • Compliance with established protocols and procedures
