Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated team player with the right attitude to join our team at our branch in St. Petersburg, FL. The right candidate for this role will have a can-do mentality and is willing to do what it takes to get the job done. The position requires someone who is able to lift and move heavy items routinely and has forklift driving experience. Key Responsibilities:
• Pull and prepare orders and check for accuracy
• Load/unload trucks
• Inventory – count, organize and maintain stock, inspect condition and quality, move, and replenish as necessary, notify manager of low-stock items.
• Help customers with loading products
• Keeps aisles clear of stock and debris
• Sweep warehouse floors daily and as needed
• Report any unsafe conditions to the branch manager.
• Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Other duties as required.
Other Requirements:
• Positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude
• Team-player mentality
• Forklift certified
• Safety conscious
• Ability to regularly or move up to 100 lbs
• Ability to understand and communicate directions
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, divide and multiply)
• 2 years’ warehouse experience a plus
• Attention to detail
